Job Description
We are recruiting for a Commercial Business Partner (CBP) on a 6 month contract to provide financial and commercial support to our Financial Operations team. Reporting to the EMEA Commercial Finance Manager (CFM), the Commercial Business Partner must be able to support their team in many different capacities within the financial and legal framework and will have a portfolio encompassing the management of multiple programs.
The business requires an ambitious, commercially minded person, with business acumen who can balance a variety of tasks and has a positive outcome-driven approach.
Role Overview
1. Collaborating with the shared services finance function, to ensure that accurate monthly management accounts are produced, and external reporting requirements are met
2. Drafting monthly performance packs for all the programmes for review by Programme Exec and AGS senior executives
3. Monthly forecasting activities including maintaining and updating existing client cost actuals and latest revenue forecasts
4. Supporting the annual budgeting process
5. A strong focus on providing support to the bid and business development team to produce value-based pricing to support growth and long-term profitability of the programme/region
6. Working closely with the legal team to review contracts and understanding of Legal capabilities to support the Financial operation team
7. Ensuring external and internal client reporting requirements are addressed and delivered in a timely manner
8. Operating as the key point of contact for any ad-hoc financial programme queries

Qualifications
15. Finalist/Newly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with experience in finance business partnership / commercial analyst roles
16. Demonstrate experience in business performance reporting, including forecasting and budgeting
17. Ability to initiate and lead in a variety of stakeholder presentations/meetings
18. Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience, in dealing with competing deadlines
19. Proactive and able to demonstrate confidence and strong communication skills, to independently deal with multiple stakeholders
20. Supporting the CFM in all aspects of new business acquisition, legal contracts, financial control & reporting,
21. Knowledge of the financial activities, policies and processes of a substantial company.
22. Performance driven, accountable and demonstrates ability to maintain a strong bottom line focus during a period of growth and change.
23. Comfortable with change and equipped with a positive mind-set required to maximise opportunities, work effectively under pressure and confront new challenges calmly, whilst operating in a fast-paced commercial environment.
24. Advanced Excel skills
25. Hyperion/Smartview experience desired but not necessary.
