Qualified Social Worker, Kinship Team
Pay rate to £37 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work in a team in Bolton Council.
We are looking to recruit a Kinship Social worker to join our busy Kinship Team. To provide an effective and efficient social work service assessing, training, supporting and supervising Kinship carers and Special Guardians
The candidate will have post qualifying experience in working with and supporting kinship carers and Special Guardians and have experience of the following
1. Undertake assessments of Kinship Carers and Special Guardians
2. Undertake annual reviews and other reviews as required to evaluate and monitor the care of looked after children provided by Kinship carers
3. Provide ongoing supervision and support to ensure the care of looked after children is of the highest quality
4. Identify any support, training, and preparation to develop the skills of carers further
5. Advising and assisting colleagues to place individual children with Kinship carers and substitute families
6. Attend reviews, case conferences, strategy meetings and network meetings as and when required and to provide the appropriate advice, information, and support for such forums
7. Organise Kinship fostering information and advisory service for both colleagues and members of the public.
We operate a hybrid working arrangement; however candidates must be able to be office based in Bolton or undertake visits to meet service needs.
