Join Our Team as a Lifeguard!
Are you ready to dive into a role where safety meets fun? At Butlin’s, our lifeguards play a crucial role in ensuring that guests enjoy their time at our Splash Waterworld while staying safe in the pool and on the flumes. Your attention to detail and commitment to guest safety will shine in this exciting position!
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure Guest Safety: Monitor the pool area diligently, especially during busy periods.
* Provide Outstanding Customer Service: Engage with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Organize Poolside Activities: Promote and facilitate fun activities that enhance guest experiences.
Working Conditions
Typical working hours range from 24 to 35 hours per week, including weekends. Shifts primarily occur between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional shifts extending until 9:00 PM. Flexibility and reliability are essential, as we operate seven days a week.
Live-in accommodation may be available for those over 18 who are relocating for a full-time position.
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can connect with a diverse range of people. To thrive in this role, you should:
* Be a Strong Swimmer: Your swimming skills are vital for monitoring the pool effectively.
* Have Attention to Detail: Safety is our top priority, and your keen eye will help ensure it.
* Possess a Lifeguard Qualification: A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential for this position.
* Work Well in a Team: While you’ll be part of a fantastic team, there will be times when you’ll supervise areas independently.
