Experienced Support Worker (Female*)

Part-time Hours
We are looking for an experienced support worker to care for a 5 year old boy who has cerebral palsy and complex needs. The support worker will assist our client at home with all of his personal care, nutritional, medical and leisure needs. This role would suit applicants with prior experience in support roles, school based TA roles and healthcare assistant roles. Experience in working with children is essential.
Applicants must have a full clean driving licence and access to their own vehicle as the client's location is not accessible by public transport.
Hours
A position is currently available to cover two weekdays per week from 06:00 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 20:00 on both days as well as 10:00 to 16:00 every other Saturday (averaging 19 hours per week).
Additional hours will be available during school holidays and occasional Sundays.
Rates of pay **
£17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
£19.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday
Two excellent references and an enhanced DBS check will be pursued
