My client is a specialist distributor supplying the construction and mechanical & electrical sectors with fixings, support systems, containment, tools and related products across the UK. Operating from their Northfleet HQ, they are known for:

The Role: Supply Chain Manager
You will take full ownership of end‑to‑end supply chain planning, including:
4. Leading the monthly S&OP process
5. Building short‑, medium‑ and long‑term demand forecasts
6. Managing global suppliers and international imports
7. Overseeing inventory across multiple UK locations, including a 3PL
8. Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes and data
9. Leading a team of three (Buyer, Supply Chain Assistant, Purchasing Administrator)
This role reports into the Operations Director and plays a key part in ensuring my client delivers high availability, optimised stock levels and best‑in‑class supplier performance.

11. Background in a UK distribution or construction/M&E supply environment
12. Knowledge of international sourcing & import processes
13. Confident with ERP/MRP systems & advanced Excel
