Job Description Are you a seasoned Fund Accountant who is either based in the UK mainland or open to relocating from the Channel Islands? Firstcall is working with a leading fund administrator with a diverse clientele across the globe who is seeking a dedicated Senior Fund Accountant for their Southampton office. Working within a structured and team-oriented environment, you will be involved in financial and investor reporting along with managing various back-office tasks. Responsibilities include: Performing treasury functions such as bank account reconciliations and cash reporting. Preparing journal entries and managing workpapers within the quarterly cycle. Assisting in GAAP financial statement preparation and processing capital activity (capital calls & distributions). Managing ad-hoc investor inquiries and maintaining effective client communications. You will be someone who holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced qualifications, such as a CPA or Master’s degree and private equity funds experience, would be advantageous.
