Management Accountant Location: Leicester (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £45,000 benefits Type: Full-time | Permanent Sector: Financial Services Experience mentoring or managing junior staff preferred I'm working with a well-established financial services business in Leicester that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This Management Accountant is a key role with responsibility for producing accurate and timely management accounts, supporting strategic decision-making, and mentoring a junior team member. Management Accountant Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis Budgeting and forecasting, working closely with department heads Monthly reporting on KPIs, cash flow, and business performance Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls Identifying and driving process improvements Mentoring and supporting a Junior Management Accountant Assisting with strategic finance projects and business planning Management Accountant Profile: CIMA qualified, part-qualified or QBE with solid management accounting experience Background in financial services is advantageous Confident producing and presenting management information to non-finance stakeholders Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of accounting systems Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and proactive Experience managing or mentoring junior staff is highly desirable What’s On Offer: Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience) Hybrid working (typically 3 days in office) Collaborative and supportive finance team Opportunity to grow and develop within a respected, stable organisation If you’re looking to take the next step in your finance career and thrive in a role with real responsibility and mentoring opportunities, please apply
