Aspire People are working in partnership with a friendly, well-led primary school in the Longsight area. The school has high expectations for pupils and staff and places a strong emphasis on teamwork, inclusion, and tailored support for every child.
Teaching Assistants are valued members of the team and play a vital role in supporting learning across both KS1 and KS2.
The Role
We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full-time, long-term basis. You will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, working closely with teachers to help children achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
* Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
* Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Supporting behaviour, engagement, and learning
* Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE or equivalent)
* Recent experience working in a nursery or mainstream primary setting
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Desirable:
* Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
* Confidence working across different year groups
