Are you ready to be part of something special?

Our brand-new 2030 strategy marks the beginning of an exciting journey. We're thrilled to continue our mission of delivering outstanding service to residents, making it an exciting time to join our team.

At Settle, we're driven by a relentlessly resident focus with a holistic and personalised touch, building trust through unique, community-centred initiatives. We have established strong community ties, enabling us to offer essential services such as mental health support and financial guidance. Join us in making an impact and contributing to our ambitious goals through collaborative efforts. Together, we empower residents and provide them with a solid foundation upon which they can build their lives.

This role will play a critical part in supporting the procurement and insurance functions within Settle, enabling the delivery of efficient services. Central, accurate, and complete information is essential to support decision-making and project delivery. You will build strong and effective relationships across the organisation to support procurement and insurance queries, as well as provide administrative support. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to learn more about procurement and insurance services, supporting your professional development.

Responsibilities

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement data and insurance records are complete and accurate.
* Identify where procurement activity is required to implement new or renew existing contracts and ensure any insurance actions are identified and carried out as appropriate.
* Check and update contract information held on the Contracts Register.
* Ensure contracts are signed and a copy is centrally filed.
* Record procurement information such as Tender Waivers and pipeline projects, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place for contracts to progress.
* Review new supplier requests.
* Engage with and support teams across Settle, responding to relevant queries on Procurement and Insurance appropriately.
* Assist with insurance claims and queries, and annual insurance renewal.
* Administer the Home Contents insurance scheme and produce documentation and reports for the scheme.
* Reconcile insurance claims to ensure maximum recovery from insurers.
* Maintain claims files and insurance documentation relating to contractors.

Requirements

* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage several tasks concurrently.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
* Expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel to analyse and present data effectively.
* Ability to analyse information such as spend data, insurance claims information, procurement pipeline, etc.

Desirable:

* Knowledge of procurement processes
* Knowledge of e-procurement systems
* Experience of social housing
* Experience of dealing with insurance and insurance claims
