Overview
Assistant Practitioner - Rehabilitation at Locala Health & Wellbeing. Permanent contract, full time 37.5 hours (flexible working considered minimum 30 hours). Band 3/4 depending on experience. Location: South Kirklees, working with the Adult Speech and Language Therapy team to deliver specialist communication and eating and drinking care for adults with neurological conditions across a variety of community settings.
Responsibilities
This is a new opportunity within a friendly and innovative team. You will work with the Adult Speech and Language Therapy team to deliver specialist communication and eating and drinking care for adults with neurological conditions across community settings. The role requires experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, knowledge of speech and language therapy, and the ability to work on your own initiative. Experience in a rehabilitation setting, good communication skills, and flexibility are essential. A formal Assistant Practitioner qualification is desirable but willingness to work towards this is essential. Additional requirements: DBS check; you must be able to fulfil travel requirements of the post. Locala supports mobile working and provides staff with mobile technology.
