This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and provision of our main College dining room, located at the heart of our large campus just outside Lewes, East Sussex. The dining room provides a 3-meal service for our residential students and is the main hub for our lunch service to students, staff and visitors. Staff in our dining room support with provision at the Graze Café in the new AgriFood building, which is open for HE students, staff, and external visitors. The successful candidate will work with the catering team to ensure high-quality service and a positive customer experience. They will also have opportunities to lead on arranging catering provision for internal meetings, events and functions and providing high quality catering services to our staff, students, and external visitors. The ideal candidate will be a professional, hardworking, and confident team player with a track record of working in a similar environment or in fresh produce catering establishments. We understand that given the location of the College, commuting can be a challenge, which is why we offer free bus transportation for this role from various towns in the surrounding area, including Haywards Heath, Brighton, Seaford/Newhaven, Eastbourne, and Burgess Hill, as well as lots of others.
