Support worker - driver

Support Worker
Pay rate: £14.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Days Monday to Sunday 12pm - 5pm

To be considered for this role, you MUST have a full UK driving licence with no points.

We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with a young man living in their family home in London.This person has a Brain Injury, autism, epilepsy and challenging behaviour but this does not define him.He loves listening to music on his iPad and dancing, playing the drums and has a great sense of humour.He likes to be busy, he attends DJ-ing lessons, loves to go bowling and to the cinema, he also has an annual Merlin Pass, so you need to love a rollercoaster! If you live in the Peckham area we'd love to hear from you!To make the most of the your time together we would need you to be able to drive, this is only if you want a day time role.

Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this persons life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:

* Brain Injury
* Autism
* Epilepsy
* Behaviours that can be perceived as challenging
