About The Role:
Role Purpose
The Business Support Analyst will provide critical analytical and operational support to the account team within the Facilities Management sector. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can interpret data from multiple sources, drive process efficiencies, and ensure financial and operational accuracy across the account.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Decision Support
* Gather, interpret, and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Management
* Coordinate Work in Progress (WIP) and associated financial processes to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
* Collaborate with the finance team to identify anomalies, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with the Projects Team in the analysis of Schedules of Rates and other control mechanisms for Governance and competitiven ess
* Monitor and ensure data provided to the finance team is accurate and challenged with relevant teams when required
Operational Support
* Support senior account team in meetings by preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes, and tracking actions.
* Drive efficiencies in processes and workflows across the account.
* Provide actionable insights from analysis of the range of asset management databases underpinning PPM and Capex processes
Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to chase outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment in conjunction with the OCS supplier Relationship Manager .
* Maintain strong relationships to support smooth operational delivery.
System Management
* Work within the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) system to maintain accurate data and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with system processes and support system improvements.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Confident in challenging peers and stakeholders constructively to drive improvements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
* Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CAFM systems.
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a business support or analyst role within the FM sector (preferred).
* Understanding of financial processes and WIP management.
* Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Familiarity with CAFM systems and data-driven decision-making.
