Located in our office in Harpenden - This pivotal role involves conducting market analysis to identify trends and opportunities, addressing agronomic challenges, and collaborating with local and international research institutions such as the Groupe Roullier World Innovation Center (CMI).
The successful candidate must have a PhD in agronomy, specialising in plant or soil nutrition, biology, or health.
Your objectives as Technical R&D Advisor:
Development:
Provide technical support the sales team to achieve sales objectives. You will participate in technical training for both the sales team and external partners, assist in building and maintaining relationships to generate and increase sales, ensuring a robust distribution channel with distributors and farmers. This includes field days with the sales team to support them on farms through: nutrient management plans, technical support, crop demo monitoring, etc.
You will be responsible for creating and monitoring field trials with agronomic partners, in order to promote our current range and launch tomorrow's innovations.
Research:
You will lead market analysis and research on key UK crops, identify growth opportunities and agronomic challenges, collaborate with the CMI and research institutions on innovative solutions, and enhance product credibility through certifications and partnerships.
Your Profile:
* PhD in agronomy, specialising in plant or soil nutrition, plant biology or plant health.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Team player with the ability to collaborate with external partners.
