Job Description
3. The Interim IT Network Manager will line manage and lead a team of approx. 10 Network Engineers, including performance management, coaching, and development.
4. Set priorities, manage workloads, and ensure effective delivery of network services and projects.
5. Act as escalation point for complex network issues and incidents.
6. Ensure operational stability, resilience, and security of the network estate.
7. Collaborate with wider IT, security, and business stakeholders.
8. Support change, improvement initiatives, and adoption of best practice.
9. Contribute to service reviews, reporting, and governance processes.
10. Due to the people-management duties, the role will require an on-site presence, ideally 4-5 days per week.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful candidate for the Interim IT Network Manager position, you should have:
11. A strong background in IT systems and network infrastructure management.
12. Proven expertise in developing and implementing IT strategies.
13. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
14. Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
15. Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
16. The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
17. Your own transport, and be able to commute daily to Gloucester.
