Job Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to support the day‑to‑day leadership of a well‑established residential care home in Maidstone. The role combines hands‑on care delivery with operational and administrative management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the residential care home
* Lead, supervise and support care staff to maintain high standards of care
* 50% floor‑based care, ensuring safe and person‑centred practice & 50% office‑based work including care planning and compliance
* Conduct audits, quality checks and contribute to regulatory compliance
* Ensure best practice, effective communication and team coordination
* Step up and manage the home in the Registered Manager's absence
Essential Requirements
* Experience as a Deputy Manager in a residential care home
* Consideration given to experienced Team Leaders with genuine management duties
* Stable and consistent employment history
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of care standards, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
* Ability to promote high‑quality, person‑centred care
