Senior Permanent and Executive Search Consultant
TARCG is proud to be working in close partnership with one of the UK’s most respected and forward-thinking aviation companies. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and licensed B1 and/or B2 Line & AOG Engineer to join our client's dynamic engineering team based at Farnborough.
The Role
As a Line & AOG Licenced Engineer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day aircraft line and AOG maintenance, including certifications in alignment with current authorisations. You’ll be the go-to expert on the ground—ready to travel at short notice, uphold the highest safety and regulatory standards, and deliver a customer-focused approach to AOG support and line maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Rapid AOG response: Stay ready to deploy on short notice for high-priority aircraft support.
* Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth, transparent service delivery.
* Ensure all tasks fall within your certification privileges and current maintenance procedures.
* Present a professional image—on-site and in all client interactions.
* Manage AOG response vehicles, ensuring they are stocked, clean, and mission-ready.
* Flex between AOG and base maintenance operations as required.
* Lead and support maintenance personnel within your area of responsibility.
* Promote safety and risk awareness across all operational activities.
* Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to drive operational success.
What We’re Looking For
* Unrestricted EASA/UK CAA B1 and/or B2 Licence (B2 with electrical privileges preferred).
* Typed on one or more of the EMB 135/145, Challenger 604, EMB Phenom, Global Express.
* Extensive experience in engine ground run procedures.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
* Completed recognised apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance.
* Up-to-date with current aircraft types and maintenance regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel on short notice.
