Job Description:
As Breakfast Chef at The Park Hotel, Liverpool, responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to work quickly and efficiently ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner, often lone working as a breakfast chef. Ultimately, you will prepare and deliver a complete breakfast menu that delights our guests in an important part of our business, breakfast for our hotel guests
Responsibilities:
* Set up the kitchen for the day ahead for the team
* Ownership of the breakfast department, ordering and replenishing
* Responsible for providing breakfast service made to order
* Enquire, understand and manage the implications of food allergies for guests
* Exceeding guest service experience
* Completion of all tasks necessary during their shift
* Responsible for the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
* Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
* Ensure appealing plate presentation
* Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
* Slightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, dairy)
* Monitor food stock and place orders
* Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
