Year 2 Class Teacher – Full-Time | Slough

Are you a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 teacher looking for a new opportunity from September 2025?
We are working with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Slough that is seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, with the role offered initially on a temporary contract with the strong potential to become permanent.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a particular understanding of the Year 2 curriculum, including end-of-key-stage assessments. You will be confident in planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners. The school is particularly keen to hear from teachers who have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or who demonstrate a thoughtful, inclusive approach to teaching.

A clear understanding of assessment frameworks, phonics delivery (e.g., Letters and Sounds, Read Write Inc.), and behaviour management strategies will be essential.
