Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting a leading global engineering company in the recruitment of a Assembly Technician to join their team on a full-time, 6-month contract. \n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Technician with mechanical and electrical experience to join a well-established and innovative business.\n\nThis role will be based primarily at the company's Milton Keynes site, with occasional travel to a nearby location. When required, travel between sites will be completed using company pool vehicles.\n\nWorking hours:\n* Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm\n* Some overtime may be available\n\nResponsibilities:\n* Carry out mechanical and electrical assemblies\n* Follow build and test work instructions accurately\n* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workplace\n* Use a range of hand tools, machinery, and testing equipment (e.g.
volt meters)\n* Participate in troubleshooting operations, engineering trials and builds\n* Assist with ad-hoc technical tasks as required\n* Report safety concerns and follow all health & safety procedures\n* Support continuous process improvements and contribute to a culture of quality and safety\n* Work both independently and collaboratively with the wider team\n\nRequirements:\n* Previous experience in both mechanical and electrical systems is essential\n* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions\n* Confident using hand tools, machinery, and preferably testing equipment\n* Battery assembly and testing experience is desirable but not essential\n* Proven ability to follow build/test instructions and complete tasks methodically\n* Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed\n* Excellent communication both written and verbal\n* Excellent attention to detail\n\nDetails:\n* £17.44 per hour\n* Working hours of Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm\n* 6 month opportunity\n\nThis is a great opportunity to gain experience with a globally recognised company while contributing to exciting and meaningful work.\nIf you're an experienced Technician with a proactive approach and a strong mechanical/electrical background, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nKinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
