As the Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the night shift operations to ensure the accurate and timely dispatch of goods. You will lead a team of operatives and work closely with other departments to maintain high standards of safety, productivity, and quality.
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing importer and distributor of ambient, chilled, and frozen food products, supplying both retail and foodservice sectors across the UK. With a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, they are looking to strengthen their warehouse operations team with the addition of a Night Shift Supervisor.
Description
* Supervising the warehouse night team to ensure KPIs are met in areas such as order accuracy, picking accuracy, and productivity.
* Monitoring and managing stock movements, including goods out and replenishment.
* Conducting shift handovers and reporting on performance metrics and operational issues.
* Ensuring health & safety, food hygiene, and company compliance policies are consistently followed.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
* Training and mentoring team members, identifying development needs and fostering a high-performance culture.
Profile
* Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, ideally within a food or FMCG environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
* Good working knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* A current forklift licence (Reach and/or Counterbalance) is desirable but not essential.
