Role Summary
Senior Business Support Executive – Salary £30,000 to £34,000. Reports to the Business Operations Manager. Permanent full‑time position, 35 hours per week, based in Stratford, London with flexible office attendance (1–2 days per week).
Responsibilities
* Work in partnership with other teams across the organisation and within Supporter Led Fundraising to ensure a consistent and seamless experience for all supporters.
* Collaborate with operational colleagues to deliver operational support efficiently, enabling the department to deliver its core business activities.
* Provide operational support to the Compliance Manager and adhere to all CRUK data protection and financial policies.
* Develop and streamline processes, procedures and documentation for internal staff and external supporter audiences to maximise efficiencies and the supporter journey.
* Maintain department details on all relevant touchpoints and record all supporter activity accurately on systems to agreed standards and timeframes.
* Oversee department inboxes and internal queries, ensuring trends are acted upon in conjunction with the Business Operations Manager.
* Support a range of Supporter Led Fundraising and Operations projects, ensuring milestones are met by sharing subject‑matter expertise, knowledge of internal processes and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Experience of organisation and coordination, able to work to tight deadlines, manage own workload and delegate work within a team.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills with strong stakeholder‑management experience.
* Proven ability to build strong professional relationships with a range of internal stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to plan effectively, manage multiple activities and deliver to deadlines.
* Good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes.
