This is an exciting opportunity for a geotechnical engineer to join a long established Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Ground Investigation consultancy that operates throughout the United Kingdom. They pride themselves on providing cost effective ground investigations with practical solutions for a very wide range of projects. The company assists with all ground related aspects from Phase 1 desk studies, practical foundation advice, Contaminated land assessments, sustainable drainage solutions, soil parameters for basement and infrastructure design along with economic and environmentally sustainable remediation solutions.
Responsibilities
* Project manage ground investigation projects
* Field work and supervision of site contractors
* Write associated reports and provide cost effective solutions
Qualifications
* A BSc in Geology or related subject
* A full UK driving licence
* Experience in ground investigation consultancy, rock logging, fieldworks and sitework supervision, providing recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining walls, mining, dissolution, and slope stability assessments
