As a SEMH Teacher, you will work with students through various methods, including outdoor activities and innovative teaching approaches. You will be a key figure in their lives, and our teachers always seek fun and engaging ways to connect with students!
The schools we partner with are looking for a SEMH Teacher to fill day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements. They offer extensive experience, allowing you to grow professionally while being paid at market-leading rates. Our experienced SEND Consultants will match you with placements that suit your availability, preferences, and skills.
The ideal SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status/QTS, with at least 6 months of SEND experience
* A calming and caring persona
* Flexibility to cover classes last minute due to staff sickness or training
* The ability to follow pre-planned lessons and the capability to design your own activities and resources
* Skills to adapt tasks to meet individual children's needs
* Effective behaviour management skills
* Strong communication skills with internal staff
