We are looking for a bright, entrepreneurial CFO, who can join a small, lean management team and be a force to help take this medium sized, consistently profitable international Company to its next growth phase and beyond.
The CFO works closely with the CEO and acts as her partner in the business goals.
You need to be adaptable and prepared to roll up your sleeves, work at all levels and use your experience and enthusiasm across all parts of our Group. You need to have a good understanding of accounting rules as they apply to services and products businesses in both the USA and UK.
You probably have an international auditing background supplemented by a number of years in industry. What we can offer is a significant package and in return for a few years application, an exciting role with almost limitless opportunity.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the leadership team at a pivotal stage in the company’s journey.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be a strategic partner in driving growth, building shareholder value, and ensuring robust financial management across our international operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a lean, entrepreneurial organisation, ideal for an executive who combines board-level presence with a willingness to engage in the detail where required.
Location: Orlando, USA or Edinburgh, UK (with international travel).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership
§ Partner with the CEO and Board to shape group strategy, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.
§ Lead investor relations and be a visible, credible voice to shareholders, analysts, and other external stakeholders.
§ Drive the Group’s M&A agenda, including evaluation, execution, and integration of opportunities.
Financial Management & Governance
§ Lead a high-performing, global finance function, ensuring robust reporting, controls, and compliance across the Group.
§ Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, disclosures) in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
§ Manage external auditors, tax advisors, and ensure audit readiness and regulatory good standing.
§ Oversee consolidated group forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.
§ Optimise cash flow, capital structure, and funding to support growth.
Operational Oversight
§ Provide leadership for payroll, benefits, and compliance processes in the US, working with external providers.
§ Strengthen and embed financial controls, processes, and risk management across the Group.
§ Act as a key problem-solver with the CEO on unforeseen events affecting global operations.
Candidate Profile
§ Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with 10+ years’ senior financial leadership experience.
§ Previous experience as CFO or senior finance executive in a listed or international group (public company exposure required).
§ Strong technical knowledge of SEC reporting, US GAAP/IFRS, and international tax regimes (particularly US).
§ Demonstrated track record in investor relations, capital markets, and presenting to Boards and Audit Committees.
§ Experience with M&A transactions and integration.
§ Confident communicator with excellent drafting skills for external disclosures.
§ International outlook and unrestricted ability to travel between the US, UK, and Europe.
