Who You Are You are passionate about creating and maintaining attractive, clean, safe, and welcoming parks and open spaces. You are skilled in tree stock management and have experience collaborating with contractors, partners, and users. You have experience driving and towing and ideally possess several qualifications related to chainsaw use and tree maintenance. What the job involves Your responsibilities include working with Enfield Council and its stakeholders to ensure the borough's parks and open spaces are well-maintained. You'll manage and maintain a healthy tree stock across various environments, ensuring that these areas meet safety and aesthetic standards. You will also be expected to interpret and apply relevant legislation and codes of practice related to tree management. Skills Driving and towing experience Chainsaw maintenance (CS30.1) Cross-cutting and stacking timber (CS30.2) Felling and processing small trees (CS31) Aerial rescue (CS38) Tree management legislation interpretation Full Driving Licence with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement Practical experience in tree surgery Chainsaw use from a rope and harness (CS39) First aid (desirable) Stump Grinding operations (Lantra/City & Guilds) Wood Chipper operations (Lantra/City & Guilds) MEWP and Chainsaw use in MEWP Street works Signing Lighting and Guarding (City & Guilds) PA1 & PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides
