If you are an experienced electrician or mechanic with electrical experience within the construction industry and are looking for a career in a reputable business, then this is the role for you!\n\nAbout The Role\n\nAs part of our continued growth, we're strengthening the support within our workshop and depot at our Liverpool branch. We’re looking for a hands-on, practically experienced individual to join us in maintaining and assessing our electrical fleet of pumps and control panels.\n\nThis is a workshop-based role with no call-out requirement, making it ideal for someone who prefers working in a single location with a consistent routine.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Repair, test and maintain all electrical/mechanical pump sets and electrical control panels\n\n * Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and modifications from wiring diagrams and specifications\n\n * Prepare reports and repair estimates using company systems\n\n * Ensure all work performed is compliant with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current I.E.E. Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations, and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations.\n\n * Ensure that workspace, tools, and equipment are kept to a high standard both on and off site ensuring a clean safe working environment for all\n\n * Communicate clearly and professionally with managers, colleagues, and internal teams.\n\n * Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Installation, Sales, and Fleet Support\n\nQualifications & Experience :\n\n * ECS Gold Card – Installation or Maintenance Electrician (essential)\n\n * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Electrical Maintenance (essential)\n\n * AM2 (Achievement measurement 2) (essential)\n\n * IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition (essential)\n\n * Proven experience with 3-phase wiring, motors, and control panels\n\n * Demonstrable experience working as an electrician in similar industrial or commercial industry, preferably within a construction/utilities industry\n\n * Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, circuits & electrical / mechanical components\n\n * A methodical approach, with the ability to work through a schedule and ensure all checks are completed on time and to a high standard.\n\n * Well organised, able to organise paperwork, ensuring stock is always available and the equipment needed is on site.\n\n * Previous experience with control panels would be advantageous, but not essential.\n\n * Excellent IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft package skills including Outlook and Word\n\n * Demonstrable ability to share own knowledge and best practice, to help coach and develop apprentices and newer members of the team.\n\nPlease note, no vehicle is provided for this role so own transport to site would be necessary.\n\nWhat we can offer you\n\nWe understand balancing work and life commitments isn’t always easy, that’s why we’ve designed our benefits package to support you in all areas of life.\n\n * Competitive salary\n\n * Enhanced overtime pay\n\n * Medicash Scheme – medical expenses scheme (access to 24hour online GP services, discounted gym memberships)\n\n * Pension scheme with contribution based on total earnings not just salary\n\n * 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays\n\n * Increasing annual leave entitlement with long service\n\n * 3x your annual salary life insurance (DIS)\n\n * Support for development and training\n\n * Employee assistance programme (EAP) & access to Mental Health first aiders\n\n * Employee discount scheme (discounts/vouchers for supermarkets, high street shops, holidays and more)\n\n * Employee referral scheme\n\nThis role is not open to Agencies - Please no calls or emails - Thank you\n\nEDI Statement\n\nWorkdry International Ltd is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.\n\nWe value transparency, respecting others and understanding differences.
