About the role:
Connex Education are working with various SEND Schools in Northwich who are seeking support workers who are interested in working in a SEND School.
About the School:
The school I am working with cater for pupils aged between 2 and 19 with a range of needs including Autism, SEMH, SLD and PMLD. The role of a SEND TA will include supporting pupils both academically and emotionally as well as promoting life skills. You will work as a team with the class teacher and other TA’s to help create an engaging learning environment.
Assignment details:
We are working on both full and part time roles, some of which are temp to perm. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm.

Person specification:
* Experience of supporting pupils with SEND either in a School or residential setting as a support worker.
* Be willing to provide personal care.
* Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
* The ability to build relationships with staff and pupils.
* Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
