Salary: Grade 3, £14,709 - £15,176 per annum. £ £13.26 per hour

26.25 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Temporary until November 2026 to cover Maternity

We are looking for a creative, energetic and enthusiastic Level 2 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant who will fully embrace our Mission Statement of Growing Together in Faith, Love & Learning.

St. Bernadette's Catholic Primary School and Nursery is at the heart of the local community with beautiful grounds. It is a nurturing school which is filled with happy children who love coming to school. We make use of our strong parish links and provide experiences beyond the school day for our children.

The successful candidate will be working within our Section 27 Nursery on the school site and will be committed to supporting children to achieve the very best they can be through an engaging and inspiring curriculum. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life. They will be innovative and creative in their teaching and a strong team player.

We are looking someone who will:

* Be supporting the development and daily management of the Nursery providing a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment for children 3 4 years of age.
* Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of the children.
* Promote high standards of behaviour and a good working ethos.
* Develop effective working relationships within the school.
* Contribute to the wellbeing of children according to our policy.
* Ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs.
* Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
