Our client, a specialist manufacturing business, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, support key financial processes, and develop your career within a growing SME.
?? Location: Walsall?? Position: Management Accountant?? Full-Time?? Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and group reporting packs.
* Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register with support from the Accounts Assistant.
* Carry out monthly expenditure analysis and liaise with budget holders.
* Develop strong business partnerships with internal management.
* Complete quarterly VAT returns.
* Provide backup support for Payroll, Sales Ledger/Credit Control, and Purchase Ledger teams.
* Support annual budgeting and year-end financial accounts preparation, including audits.
* Liaise with external auditors during year-end audits.
Key essentials of the Management Accountant:
* Qualified ACCA, CIMA, or experienced QBE Accountant.
* Experience working in a manufacturing SME environment.
* Advanced Excel skills.
