Technical Sales Engineer – Process Plant
What Are We Looking For?
Due to strong recent growth and ambitious future plans, we require a Technical Sales Engineer based at our Head Office in Dewsbury. You would be working with the existing Process Plant Sales Team, maintaining existing & developing new customer relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in a specialist area of Engineering, working in a wide range of industries.
We are looking for a highly motivated, driven individual to be part of our very successful and experienced sales team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Liaising with new and existing customers by email, telephone, video call and face to face meetings.
* Developing enquiries and producing detailed proposals for clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and met.
* Maintaining our ERP system, with details and updates as projects progress.
* Producing enquiry and sales reports as required
* Enquiry follow-up and sales negotiation.
* Visits to customer sites as required, to help establish requirements and specification.
* Continuing product development working alongside our Technical team.
Key skills include:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good attention to detail, you will be required to develop clear and accurate customer proposals and quotations.
* Technically orientated with the mind set to seek out solutions and solve complex problems.
* Proven track record in sales.
* A good grounding in Science/Engineering based subjects, either from education or work-based experience. An A-Level (or equivalent) in at least one Science subject is essential. A degree in either Chemistry or an Engineering based subject would be advantageous.
* Microsoft 365 and ERP literate.
