Location: Hybrid (Remote + Wembley Stadium London Headquarters)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Reports to: Head of Global Student Recruitment

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented, ambitious Student Recruitment and Events Assistant to support recruitment strategies by engaging with prospective students globally, representing GIS at events, and building strong relationships. You will help execute recruitment campaigns, manage our CRM system, drive student engagement, and coordinate student recruitment events, providing administrative and logistical support.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Qualification and Sales Funnel Management:

* Respond to enquiries from prospective students via email, phone, and social media, providing timely and informative responses.
* Assess lead suitability using agreed frameworks to ensure they meet engagement criteria.
* Build and nurture relationships with prospective students, providing information about courses, admissions, scholarships, and university life.
* Develop and execute targeted email and phone campaigns to nurture leads and encourage progression.
* Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate prospect information, tracking their journey from initial contact to application.


Events:

* Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering recruitment events, including open days, webinars, school visits, and campus tours.
* Support logistical arrangements for in-person and virtual events, ensuring smooth execution.
* Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to meet event requirements.
* Represent GIS at various events such as open days, school visits, recruitment fairs, and webinars.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and managing student ambassadors for events, providing guidance and support.


Communication and Engagement:

* Create and distribute promotional materials, including digital content, flyers, and invitations.
* Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and educators, ensuring excellent customer service.


Data Management and Reporting:

* Maintain CRM data on prospective students and event attendees.
* Assist in analyzing data from events and interactions to evaluate and improve recruitment strategies.


Administrative Support:

* Provide general support to the Recruitment Team and Events Manager.
* Manage event documentation, budgets, schedules, and attendee lists.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

* University degree or relevant qualification, preferably in a related field.
* Knowledge and strong interest in sports, education, student recruitment, and event management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive and adaptable approach.
* Experience in sports industry or education, customer service, or event coordination roles.
* Experience working towards targets or KPIs, with success in recruitment or sales.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and online event platforms.
