Overview

Teaching Assistant - KS2 role at Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT)

Moorlands Church of England Primary Academy, part of the Ark Federation, is looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work in KS2. This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive team that cares deeply for its children and is improving outcomes.

Responsibilities

* Provide support to teachers in KS2 to help raise pupil attainment.
* Assist with classroom management and the delivery of planned activities.
* Support pupils to access learning, including those with additional needs.


Qualifications and Requirements

* Ideal for an experienced teaching assistant, qualified to, or working towards a level 2 qualification; candidates new to the role will be considered depending on qualifications.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.


What We Offer

* Salary: Pay Scale C3-4, £7,462 - £7,579 actual per annum (£24,796 - £25,185 FTE)
* Permanent, Part Time
* 13 hours per week
* Term Time plus 1 week

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. Guidance about whether a conviction or caution should be disclosed can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.
