You’ll combine strategic finance leadership with hands‑on delivery; setting up scalable systems, optimising processes, and ensuring compliance across finance, tax, and light‑touch HR operations. This is a flexible, high‑trust role ideal for an experienced finance leader who enjoys working closely with founders and getting under the hood of a dynamic, product‑led business.ResponsibilitiesStrategic FinanceOwn cashflow management, forecasting, and runway reportingPrepare monthly management accounts and board‑level financial reportsBuild and maintain financial models to support budgeting, pricing, and funding scenariosAdvise on strategic decisions including commercial models, cost control, and growth plansSupport investor relations and funding round readinessOperational FinanceOversee day‑to‑day financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, pension, and contractor paymentsManage VAT returns, HMRC filings, and business tax submissionsMaintain banking processes, virtual card management, and expense workflowsLiaise with accountants and other third parties to ensure financial compliancePeople & OperationsManage and update employment contracts and HR policiesTrack holidays, onboarding, and compliance with employment regulationsSupport on software usage and contract renewals across key operational toolsAbout YouYou’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)You’ve held senior finance roles in startups or high‑growth businesses, ideally with consumer apps or community platformsYou’re confident building models, setting up systems, and communicating financial insights to non‑financial stakeholdersYou understand both strategic finance and operational delivery, and you’re happy doing bothYou’re comfortable operating in a flexible, part‑time structure and can prioritise high‑impact workYou’re proactive, commercial, and able to adapt quickly in a fast‑changing environmentBonus: experience working with B2B data platforms or managing financial SLAs with external clientsThis is a flexible, part‑time role with hours to be agreed based on your availability.
