The Wealth at Work Investment Counsellor is a trusted advisor serving High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth professionals. This role is based in London, a key market for our business globally, with potential for client coverage beyond UK in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
1. Investment counsellors joining Citi Wealth will be distinguished and highly accomplished at establishing, growing, and managing investment relationships. They should be experienced in the implementation and oversight of investment solutions, and in providing advice and guidance on markets and actionable investment ideas. Appropriate candidates will possess the credibility to cultivate trusting relationships with established clients and with prospective clients. Candidates for the position should be collaborative and team oriented, able to leverage a wide array of internal partners.
2. Build and manage a successful practice centered on deepening relationships by providing potential and existing clients with appropriate investment advice and solutions.
3. Combine in depth knowledge of traditional and alternative investments with wealth planning and private banking services to optimize client service and cross-marketing opportunities.
4. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

10. Possesses a broad base of execution skills.
11. Requires advanced judgment and conducts in-depth analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions.
Knowledge/Experience:
12. Experience of the financial industry, preferably in a trading or advisory role.
13. Investment, banking and either portfolio management or trading experience.
14. Excellent relationship building skills, both with clients, and across hierarchical levels and other functions
15. Ability to cope with ambiguity & change.
16. Ability to challenge status quo and continuously optimize processes and tasks in own area of responsibility.
Qualifications:
17. Postgraduate Degree Educated or equivalent preferred, however exceptional candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
18. CFA or equivalent registration preferred.
19. Will be expected to complete relevant regulatory qualifications.
20. Fluent English.
21. Other European languages a plus.
