2. -month contract with possible extension

About the Team:

Join a collaborative workforce consultation team delivering high-impact change management initiatives across government functions. APS6 Project Officers provide operational support, research, reporting, and workforce planning to ensure project deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:
5. Develop and manage project plans and schedules
6. Provide specialist advice and technical expertise on workforce initiatives
7. Perform research, analysis, and prepare draft reports, business cases, and executive briefs
8. Monitor project budgets, assist with procurement, and manage risks, issues, and benefits
9. Contribute to project quality management and deliverables
10. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior government audiences
Essential Criteria:
11. High performance in dynamic, fast-paced environments
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
14. Project management and workforce consultation support
15. Research, report, and brief preparation
Desirable Criteria:
16. Experience in a government department, agency, or public sector
17. Understanding of disability, health, allied health, or related sectors
