The Role As a Receptionist / Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for learners and visitors at our Derby centre. You’ll play a key role in providing administrative support, assisting with marketing for Derby and other site locations, and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Welcoming learners and visitors on site, providing friendly and professional front desk service * Supporting learners with wrap-around care after their course has ended * Handling incoming calls and emails * Carrying out general administrative duties (filing, data entry, scheduling, etc.) * Assisting with marketing and promotion for local and regional activities * Supporting events, meetings, and community activities when required * Contributing to a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or admin role * Excellent communication skills — comfortable speaking with people face to face and over the phone * Strong organisational and time-management skills * Confident using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems * Positive attitude, friendly, and professional approach What We Offer * Early Friday finish * Free on-site parking * Regular social events and charity activities * Supportive, friendly team environment * Access to mental health and wellbeing support at all times If you love helping people, enjoy a busy, varied role, and want to be part of a supportive team — we’d love to hear from you!
