Role Overview
A successful candidate will manage a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including trusts, partnerships, and non-UK domiciliaries. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, business tax and CGT computations, responding to client queries, and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs. This role offers diverse work for those with a background in tax compliance and an opportunity to study towards becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Candidate Requirements
* Self-motivated, committed, and flexible team player with a positive attitude and ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience managing compliance for a client portfolio.
* Supportive of ad hoc advisory work.
* Proactive problem-solving skills.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with accuracy and efficiency.
* Confident in liaising with clients and internal teams to gather information.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Educated to at least ‘A’ level, ideally with a degree; ATT qualified and studying for or recently obtained CTA qualification.
The Team
The Tax Services Group South (TSGS) comprises over 50 employees across Bristol, Bournemouth, High Wycombe, and Peterborough. The team provides high-quality compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth clients, including those with UK and offshore interests, property owners, and trusts.
