Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join our professional team. Responsibilities
* Assist in conducting asbestos surveys in various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
* Support senior surveyors with site inspections, data collection, and report preparation.
* Learn to identify different types of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Maintain accurate records of survey findings and ensure documentation complies with health and safety regulations.
* Follow strict safety protocols during site visits, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Support the organisation and logistics of survey schedules and equipment management.
Requirements
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work safely in potentially hazardous environments following health and safety guidelines.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
* A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel to different sites is essential.
* No prior asbestos surveying experience required; full training will be provided for suitable candidates committed to developing their expertise.
