Overview

You will be expected to provide nursing and residential care for people experiencing neurological illnesses, brain injuries or mental health illnesses. The home provides care for residents aged 18-65, and as a Care Assistant, you would provide a key role in the efficient running of the service.
This is an ongoing opportunity.
Responsibilities
* You will be helping residents with personal care and daily activities, encouraging the service users to remain as independent as possible.
* Completing relevant paperwork, following personalised care plans and reporting any issues you may encounter.
Qualifications
* You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
* Have a checkable work history
* Have up to date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
* Have an in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We do not offer Visa Sponsorships.
Hours & Compensation
Your typical hours will be Monday to Friday starting at 16:00 and finishing at 22:00.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
