Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for children to thrive?

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic level 3 Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team.

First Friends Preschool, Great Waldingfield

Maternity Cover

Working hours – 7.30am-5.30pm

Days- To be discussed at Interview

We are a friendly, child-focused early years setting committed to providing high-quality care and learning for children aged 0–5. We put children's wellbeing, development and safety at the heart of everything we do.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas of the EYFS

- Foster a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for children 0-5years

* Promote positive behaviour and support children's personal, social and emotional development
* Work closely with families to share progress and support children's needs
* Maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment
* Support inclusion and individual needs, liaising with external agencies where required
* Attend and contribute to team meetings and training

Skills and qualifications

- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education, CACHE, NVQ) or equivalent

- Good understanding of the EYFS framework

- Experience working with children aged 0–5

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Desirable: Paediatric First Aid certificate, safeguarding training, experience supporting children with additional needs
