Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Research Nurse / Practitioner to be part of the Agile Research Delivery Team. This role will support the delivery of research studies effectively and efficiently in community settings across the South West. The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of a portfolio of clinical trials and the line management of clinical research staff within the locality team.

This Senior Research post requires someone with a range of clinical knowledge, skills, and experience who can advise and support those involved in clinical trials at all levels. You will work on various clinical trials, planning, implementing, organizing, and managing delivery and support.
The role is based in the Cornwall locality team and involves a mix of office-based and remote working. The post-holder will travel regularly within the community to venues such as GP practices, trusts, care homes, schools, and dental practices to support research activities and promote research across the Peninsula. A UK driving license and access to a car are essential.
This position supports the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network, South West Peninsula’s (RRDN SWP) Agile Research Delivery Team, supporting research across various clinical specialties and settings.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing team working across the South West Peninsula. It is suitable for a motivated Nurse/Practitioner interested in research delivery in health and social care settings. The role requires mobility and flexibility. A UK driving license and access to a car are essential.
Applicants with NMC, AHP, or CRP registration are accepted.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm

Salary: The advertised salary reflects the Agenda for Change 5/6 rates, including a pay award to be implemented later this year. If you join before the award, it will be backdated to your start date. Until then, pay is based on the 4/5 pay bands (NHS Employers).
