What you’ll do on a typical day:
You’ll ensure the efficient running of the operation and drive operational performance through development of site systems and operational processes
* You’ll identify and resolve operational issues and where appropriate escalate to the Transport Manager, ensuring that the transport department always remains legally compliant
* You’ll analyse reports against KPI’s and take actions to improve results
* You’ll lead the transport team through the continued growth of the operation and introduce change positively
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in a fast-paced transport environment, with a strong track record of managing
* Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
