We’re looking for a Complaints & Vigilance Associate to join our Quality team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in logging, investigating, and resolving product complaints, helping us deliver continuous improvement and maintain compliance with global regulatory standards.
🔍 What you’ll do:
* Receive and manage complaints from healthcare professionals, internal teams, and regulators
* Ensure accurate documentation within the complaint management system
* Investigate complaints, assess product impact, and coordinate product returns where needed
* Conduct root cause analysis and summarise findings using 5 Whys methodology
* Collaborate with suppliers, R&D, and service teams to resolve issues
* Determine whether complaints meet regulatory reporting criteria (MHRA, FDA, MDR, etc.)
* Prepare and submit reports to the appropriate authorities within required timelines
* Track complaint trends to identify recurring issues and support product improvement
* Contribute to quarterly quality reviews and annual management reports
✅ What we’re looking for:
Essential:
* Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS), ideally in a medical device environment
* Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, and written communication
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
* A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
* Experience reporting to competent authorities (e.g. MHRA, FDA, EU Vigilance)
* Familiarity with root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions

Our headquarters is just outside Selby, North Yorkshire. As there are no public transport links, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is required.
