Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Newton Mearns. You will support our mission to transform social care and enable more people to live longer, healthier, and happier lives in their own homes.
We are recruiting part‑time and full‑time care assistants to support our clients at home. Work is available in Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Busby, Eaglesham, Barrhead and surrounding areas.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care, including continence support, washing and dressing.
* Manage medications, cook or prepare hot meals, and help with domestic tasks.
* Provide companionship, reassurance, and joy to our clients.
* Support clients’ emotional well‑being and social needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Role is subject to a PVG check.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
Shifts include mornings, days, evenings, and nights. Usually, you will have every other weekend off to support work‑life balance.

Compliance Requirements
In Scotland, all care staff must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and maintain annual renewal. Staff must work towards their SVQ2, which Cera will fund, though the registration fee is paid by the employee.
