Job Title: Accounts Assistant Duration: Until December 2025, possibility to extend to October 2026 Job Type: Temporary Location: Manchester City Centre, Hybrid Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour Start Date: ASAP Background Checks: DBS and Basic Credit Check Required Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm Your Role: As an Accounts Assistant at Co-op, you'll make sure large-scale contracts are invoiced and accounted for correctly and in-line with GSCOP regulations. We'll also look to you to support with the management of our internal budget and action day-to-day account reconciliations. * Work with our suppliers to make sure large-scale contracts are invoiced and accounted for correctly * Investigate, solve and re-invoice any invoice disputes and carry out supplier rebate collection * Reconcile accounts and provide accurate commentary alongside these * Explore financial data and reports to identify any potential issues * Make sure invoiced figures are in line with forecasted figures Your Experience/Qualifications Essential * Invoicing experience or experience in a similar role (e.g. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant etc) * Good Microsoft Excel skills - VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, index matching, sumifs are a must.
