Company managing utilities (electricity, gas and water) for a range of private and public clients seeks an Account Manager based in their office at Tannochside Park, Uddingston.
Hours of work – 37.5 per week; 8.30am to 5.00pm, Mon – Fri, with an hour for lunch. Salary £26,000 per annum.
Managing utility billing processes for private clients and will liaise with both energy users and client representatives.
Managing the collection of meter readings from multiple UK sites, this will involve data collection from smart metering as well as the collation of manual meter readings taken by field operatives.
Processing meter readings received through our bespoke billing management software and issuing final bill calculations to clients. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Handling billing queries from energy users.
Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with 1hr deemed lunch.
A high level of competence on excel spreadsheets is a must.
Familiarity with data management on a shared computer network.
Good planning and time management skills.
Good communication skills (will be required to compose competent emails to clients and require good telephone manners for dealing with customer queries)
Previous knowledge working with database programs (we use bespoke database systems for managing our client utility accounts. The successful candidate will be trained in using our database systems)
You will be working to time deadlines each month throughout the billing cycles and will be organised in your approach to your work.
You will continually review your processes and ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to our clients.
Prepared to travel as required by the role (you should hold a valid UK driving licence).
