Your Role: Inspire and Support Every Day! As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with children aged 4–11, providing 1:1 and small group support. You’ll assist pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential life skills in a safe and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Your Daily Impact Support pupils’ learning, emotional, and social development in the classroom. Assist teachers in delivering creative and differentiated lessons tailored to SEN pupils. Collaborate with SENCOs and staff to implement inclusive learning strategies. Encourage communication, independence, and positive behaviour. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents. Foster a caring and structured environment where every child feels valued. Who We’re Looking For: Could This Be You? Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties. A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection. A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or psychology (desirable but not essential). A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one. A valid driving licence. What’s in It for You?
