Nationwide is a Mutual organisation owned and operated for the benefit of its members—customers with mortgages, savings, or current accounts. Founded with a social purpose, Nationwide aims to help people save and buy homes, guided by its Blueprint for a Modern Mutual: “Banking, but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.”
As Nationwide undergoes significant change, we focus on delivering value, enhancing digital journeys, and adopting new working methods. To support this, our Enterprise Architecture (EA) must be aligned with our business and technology strategies.
Reporting to the Director of Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, this role ensures that our technology solutions align with our strategic priorities, focusing on business, data, and technology roadmaps.
As a Senior Technology Architect, you will embed the EA vision, develop roadmaps for various domains, and collaborate with Principle Architects and stakeholders to understand and influence our architecture landscape.
This is an excellent opportunity for an architect passionate about driving transformation through effective EA models. Building strong relationships across business domains and CIO teams is essential.
We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid models, with a minimum of two days per week at our London, Swindon, Bournemouth, or Northampton offices. Applicants from other locations are encouraged to apply, and further details will be provided during the hiring process. More about our hybrid approach can be found here.
High application volumes may lead to early closure of the vacancy, so we encourage prompt applications.
