Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge and experience of working with children aged 2 - 5 years of age
Experience of supporting children to learn through play
A nurturing and inclusive approach to supporting learners to fulfil their potential
Duties
* Contribute to the planning and implementing of engaging experiences in line with the developmental needs of each child.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Support the management in leading the nursery team, providing guidance and mentorship to new staff as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies regarding health, safety, and safeguarding.
Experience
* Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A qualification suitable for registration with SSSC as a Practitioner in Daycare of Children is essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 33.75 per week
